Professional Designer or Project Architect

The Prime Company is a vertically integrated development company that designs, builds, and manages multifamily housing nationwide. Our in-house design firm, Prime Design, is looking for junior Architectural staff with 0 to 5+ years of relevant work experience to join our office in Manhattan, Kansas. Job Responsibilities

      Perform a wide variety of tasks under the supervision of senior staff, including:

• Participate in the architectural process, from schematic design through occupancy

• Preparation of 2D/3D presentation materials 

• Creation of all phases of construction documents

• Assist with code, zoning, and similar research

• Assist with construction administration

• Review and coordinate consultant’s work

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters of Architecture from a NAAB accredited college/university

• Candidate experience can range from 0 to 5+ years

• Licensure not required, but preferred for more experienced candidates

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Lumion, and related software

• Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills

• Able to work independently and collaboratively as a member of a project team

• Interest in working in all phases and facets of architectural work

• Technical detailing experience required for more experienced candidates

• Experience in multifamily housing, wood construction, or related projects is preferred

• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

Compensation

 Salary

• $50,000 to $80,000/year, based on experience
