The Prime Company QBO Connector

This Privacy Policy describes how The Prime Company ("Company," "we," "us") handles data in connection with The Prime Company QBO Connector (the "Application"), an internal software integration that connects the Company's Google Workspace environment (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script) to the Company's own QuickBooks Online accounts through Intuit's developer APIs.

The Application is a private, internal business tool. It is used only by authorized employees and contractors of The Prime Company and its affiliated entities. It is not offered to the public, and it does not collect data from members of the public.

1. Data the Application Accesses

The Application accesses and transmits the following categories of data between the Company's Google Sheets and the Company's QuickBooks Online accounts:

• Accounting transaction data, including bills, invoices, credit memos, vendor credits, journal entries, and payments
• Related list data, including vendor names, customer names, chart of accounts, classes, and products/services
• OAuth authorization tokens issued by Intuit that permit the Application to connect to the Company's QuickBooks Online accounts

All data accessed by the Application belongs to The Prime Company and its affiliated entities. The Application does not access, collect, or process personal data of consumers or the general public.

2. How Data Is Used

Data is used solely to perform the Application's business function: validating and uploading accounting entries prepared in Google Sheets into the Company's QuickBooks Online accounts, and retrieving reference data (such as vendor, customer, account, and class lists) needed to validate those entries.

3. Data Storage and Security

• OAuth tokens are stored in Google Apps Script's secured Properties service within the Company's Google Workspace account and are not exposed in spreadsheets, code repositories, or logs.
• Application credentials (client ID and client secret) are stored securely and are not hardcoded in publicly visible code or displayed in browser logs.
• Access to the Application is limited to authorized personnel through Google Workspace accounts protected by authentication controls, including multi-factor authentication.
• Data in transit between Google and Intuit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data accessed by the Application with any third party. Data is transmitted only between the Company's own Google Workspace environment and the Company's own QuickBooks Online accounts via Intuit's APIs. Intuit's handling of data within QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit's own privacy statements.

5. Data Retention

Accounting data resides in the Company's Google Sheets and QuickBooks Online accounts and is retained in accordance with the Company's internal record-keeping and regulatory requirements. OAuth tokens are retained only while a connection is active and can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the Application.

6. Disconnecting

The Company may disconnect the Application from any QuickBooks Online account at any time through the Application's settings or through Intuit's connected-apps management page. Upon disconnection, the Application's access tokens for that account become invalid.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
